Orphan Surya proudly displays a letter to a special friend, Micaela, here in the US. All the children will be sending letters and pictures to their sponsors back with Michelle at Christmastime. They love to hear from you, too!  

The current MG tennis court/basketball court, soon to b erenovated into a sports and recreation center!

They heard the news that soon there will be basketball standards and a new recreation shed where they can play, thanks to the fundraising efforts of Canal View Elementary School. Thank you students and staff!

Bags and bags of cement unloaded and waiting for building approval for the new Dorothea Haus Ross Tsunami Orphans' Villa. Building approval is expected in just a few weeks. 

Sangeetha, Surya, Tamil Alaghi (all front row), and the other girls all practice their karate. Weekly lessons help build confidence, strenght, discipline, and self-defense skills for both the boys and girls.  

Little Prakash (front, first row), Pazil, Nandakumar, and others prepare for their Karate Green Belt test. Every child who tested moved up and received his or her green belt.  

Here is an example of a box labeled correctly. Please address the box to Miracle Garden Tsunami Children's Home, using the India address, and write "Gifts for Orphans" on the box. Thank you again! Christmas packages should be mailed asap, if you want them to be received by Christmas. Smaller boxes travel faster than larger ones, so you can keep that in mind. :-)

Numerous boxes and envelopes have been received recently. Upon Michelle's visit to MG in late November, she will see the children with all their wonderful gifts.
